Alexander Urpí 
Partner and Research Analyst
Alexander Urpí is a co-founder of Bell Tower Associates, LLC.
From a young age, Alex held a deep interest in both mathematics and literature. He translated his fascination with mathematics into a deep understanding of finance and economics, and made use of it while an intern at Cypress Asset Management, a wealth management firm based in Charlottesville. Alex’s passion for literature and writing helped him develop strengths in both the independent research and written communication skills, which he uses today in his research for BTA.
Alexander Urpí received his Bachelor of Arts degree (summa cum laude) in Comparative Literature from the University of Virginia. Coming out of this multilingual program, he is both fluent in Spanish and skilled at the independent research needed to complete his honors thesis. While at the University, he also took courses in the macro- and micro-economic fields, as well as the banking and monetary systems.
Nickolas Urpí
Partner and Research Analyst
Nickolas Urpí is a co-founder of Bell Tower Associates, LLC. Always looking to understand the how and why of history, Nickolas began at an early age to appreciate not only the value of evaluating and analyzing historical information, but of the bigger picture and the story behind the facts. He further developed his research skills and branched into economics while interning at Cypress Asset Management, a wealth management firm based in Charlottesville.
Nickolas Urpí received his Bachelor of Arts degree (cum laude) in History from the University of Virginia. As part of his degree, he studied the economic history of Europe and the history of American business. Also a student of Spanish and an avid studier of philosophy, he brings a holistic and deep-thinking approach to his research at BTA.
